LELEAN Memorial School clinched its third sevens title on the local scene after beating Sabeto 7-0 to clinch the Nausori High School Sevens tournament at Ratu Cakobau Park on Saturday.

Playing under the banner of Navuloa, the LMS II side proved too strong for the Nadi-based Sabeto side.

Led by former Lelean U19 captain Sakenasa Aca, who was later named player of the tournament, Navatuvula took a 5-0 lead at the breather.

Vunimono, led by inspiration captain Selema Naitukutuku, replied to level the scores.

However, Navatuvula clinched the match in the dying stages with a converted try.

The win also saw the Naitasiri side walk away with $5000.

Vuniomo II won the Plate final after beating Meads 14-0.
