The three soldiers under arrest in Labasa are alleged to have urged others not to perform their duties after hearing that the Territorial Forces would be reduced. They are alleged to have urged the men not to man roadblocks or fulfill other orders. They are being held in the Labasa jail, since the Sukanaivalu Barracks in Labasa has no detainment cell.

Their names have not yet been released.

This is the first open mention of disagreement within the military since the December5th. coup when Commander Bainimarama took power.
